Growing good with The Paddock’s Corporate Volunteering

More than just an urban farm, The Paddock is a vibrant, purpose-driven space where people of all abilities come together to create a fairer community. Since the Give Where You Live Foundation’s purchase of the property in 2023, The Paddock has continued to flourish, not only through what’s grown in the ground, but through the skills and opportunity given to those who engage with it.

Corporate volunteering has been introduced to The Paddock as a way we can engage with our partners and share the impact of our work. It’s a hands-on way for our partners to engage directly with the work we do and gain a deeper understanding of local challenges.

Whether it’s planting seedlings, building garden beds, or helping with composting, corporate volunteers support our vision of an inclusive, connected, fairer community.

Corporate volunteering at The Paddock has provided an opportunity for organisations to bring their staff team together and strengthen relationships outside the office while contributing to work on the farm.

Want to roll up your sleeves and help grow something amazing with your work team?

Corporate volunteering at The Paddock involves working alongside adults with disabilities, to tend to farming duties such as general garden maintenance, horticulture, woodworking and cooking, using produce from the expansive veggie garden.
