Program Coordinator – Inclusive Employment and Inclusive Economy – Full time, fixed term/ maternity leave until February 2026

Position Description – Program Coordinator

Are you a proactive and dedicated professional passionate about making a tangible and positive impact in our community?

The Give Where You Live Foundation is seeking a Program Coordinator to join our Social Impact Team. This role is integral to creating opportunities for individuals and suburbs within our community to thrive.

Reporting to the Inclusive Employment and Economic Development Lead/Head of GROW, you will lead impactful initiatives, foster community connections and drive positive social change within our inclusive employment and inclusive economy impact areas. This is a full time role, fixed term period / maternity leave until February 2026.

Responsibilities
Design and Development: Create, develop and deliver community engagement strategies and initiatives, including the Foundation’s GROW initiative.
Coordination: Oversee grant-making processes and initiatives aimed at reducing employment barriers and supporting a more inclusive and regenerative local economic system.
Collaboration: Work with community organisations, businesses, service providers, training providers and government entities to promote inclusive and supportive employment practices.

About You!

You have;

  • Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in Community Development, Social Work, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3 – 5 years in community development, economic development, or a related field with a focus on inclusivity and diversity.
  • Skills: Proven ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders, effective interpersonal and problem-solving skills, curiosity, creativity, project management experience, excellent communication and strong organisational skills.
  • Adaptability: Ability to work independently, take initiative and make sound decisions in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
