The Give Where You Live Foundation is proud to partner with several local organisations during its 2022 Feed Geelong Appeal to help make sure nobody in our community goes hungry.
Matched Giving Partners
The Foundation is thrilled to announce that thanks to the Mulberry Group, The Gordon and VIVA Energy every donation made on Brown Paper Bag Day (Friday 14 October) will be DOUBLED*.
These generous partners have promised that when you donate your lunch money to help fight hunger on Brown Paper Bag Day, they will DOUBLE it to make your donation go twice as far!
This means that if you donate your $15 lunch money on Brown Paper Bag Day it will instantly become $30 for the Give Where You Live Foundation’s Feed Geelong Appeal.
Make sure to register for a virtual Brown Paper Bag for your workplace, friend group, sports club, or other organisation to help fundraise for the Foundation to make sure nobody goes hungry.
*Donors who donate their lunch money on Brown Paper Bag Day will have their donation doubled by the Matched Giving Partners up to a maximum of $15,000.

Feed Geelong Appeal launch
The Gordon and the Give Where You Live Foundation will host the Feed Geelong Appeal launch on Monday 10 October during an exclusive high tea held in the Gordon’s new culinary school and restaurant.
All proceeds from this event will be donated to the Feed Geelong Appeal.
A Spring Afghan Feast
To help raise funds for the Feed Geelong Appeal, the Common Ground Project has organised a Spring Afghan Feast prepared by the women in their Staying Ground Project.
All proceeds from this sold-out event will go toward helping fight hunger in our community.
Appeal Ambassador
We are excited to welcome Masterchef’s Simon Toohey as the 2022 Feed Geelong Appeal ambassador.
In his own words, “I’ve always loved food and it’s heartbreaking to know that many people in our local community are going without food.
