The Give Where You Live Foundation is proud to announce our End of Financial Year appeal raised a record-breaking $114,000!
These donations will be essential in supporting the Foundation’s work (including our grants program, Community Choice food program, and Change Initiatives) to create a fairer G21 region.
The impact of your donation will be felt widely across our region and contribute to creating fairer access to education and employment and supporting people going through crisis, providing housing options and food relief.
As a Foundation, we know the impact these donations will have and that impact cannot be overstated. These donations will help people access and complete further education, they will help people find a job that is both fulfilling and financially viable. These donations will provide food and housing support to those in our community who truly need it most.
At the Foundation, we are incredibly grateful for the support of our community. This appeal truly demonstrates the generosity in our region, and we are so thankful to our donors for believing in and committing to creating a G21 where all people and places thrive.
Because of your continued support, in the 2020-2021 financial year we were able to invest over $2.6 million into the Geelong community including over $1.6 million in grants alone.
