As part of Social Procurement Australasia’s Social Procurement Week, the Give Where You Live Foundation is proud to open the gates to The Paddock Community Farm for a special showcase exploring how social enterprises can create meaningful social, economic and environmental impact.
The Paddock Showcase – Growing Social Value will bring together the community to experience firsthand how social procurement can deliver tangible outcomes for people and communities in Geelong.

Attendees will enjoy a guided farm tour and presentation highlighting The Paddock’s innovative social enterprise nursery model and its role in creating pathways to employment, skills development and community connection. The event will also feature local social enterprises Hope Soap and Unisus, showcasing the power of social procurement in action.
Morning tea will be provided by Unisus.
Social Procurement Creating Real Outcomes
Social procurement is about using purchasing decisions to generate positive social impact alongside delivering products and services. The work of The Paddock demonstrates how this approach can create opportunities that benefit both individuals and the wider community.
Visitors to the showcase will learn how procurement choices can support inclusive employment pathways, strengthen local social enterprises, and contribute to more resilient communities. They will also hear from Hope Soap and Unisus about the important role social enterprises play in delivering social value through everyday business activities.
