Expressions of Interest: The Paddock Community Farm

The Paddock Community Farm enables the Give Where You Live Foundation to grow a fairer community from the ground up.
Bringing together food security, learning and education, and hands-on skill development, it allows the Foundation to work alongside partners, respond to emerging community needs, and ensure our impact is sustained for generations.

The Paddock is more than a farm. It is a social enterprise helping the Foundation respond to some of the most complex challenges facing our region.

Through regenerative farming practices, it produces healthy, locally grown food for people experiencing food insecurity to strengthen the local food relief system. Beyond food production, The Paddock creates inclusive skills and pathways. Through its wholesale nursery, it offers meaningful, supported opportunities for people facing barriers to work, while also being a place of learning and education. It provides an open, inclusive environment where people can grow skills and a sense of belonging.

The Opportunity

The Foundation is inviting Expressions of Interest (EOIs) from organisations who share our commitment to building a fairer, more connected community from the ground up.

We are currently accepting EOIs for projects planned for 2026 and 2027.

Currently there are two partnerships that exist at The Paddock; a social enterprise wholesale nursery, and farming to grow food for local food security programs.

We are looking for;

  • existing initiatives that look to scale up, or new project ideas to being to life
  • initiatives that strengthen food security, expand learning and education opportunities, and create inclusive skills pathways
  • to respond to emerging community needs while supporting long‑term, sustainable outcomes.

Located on seven acres in Leopold, The Paddock Community Farm includes a woodworking shed, commercial nursery, catering facilities, four 400sqm vegetable plots, The Patch market garden, a chook pen, a fruit orchard and unutilised land that could be used for farming, community gardens etc.

Our goal is to cultivate a collaborative environment where projects can connect, share knowledge, and grow together.

Please fill out this short form detailing your project idea and have this submitted by 1 July 2026.

Expressions of Interest

The Paddock expects that all project initiatives are managed and financed independently.
