๐๐ฅ๐ข๐ช, an initiative of the Give Where You Live Foundation, in partnership with Workforce Australia Local Jobs Barwon, recently delivered another powerful session in our Inclusive Employment Workshop Series.
This event focused on ๐๐ฏ๐ผ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ด๐ถ๐ป๐ฎ๐น ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐ง๐ผ๐ฟ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ ๐ฆ๐๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ถ๐ ๐๐๐น๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐ถ๐ป๐ฐ๐น๐๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป was hosted at Wathaurong Aboriginal Co-operative, in the Booln Booln Cultural Centre.
The Inclusive Employment workshops are grounded in purpose, connected to community, and designed to go beyond surface-level conversations. At this most recent workshop, a space was created for deep insight, honest dialogue and meaningful connection.
We heard powerful stories from our panel, alongside the lived experience of an Aboriginal job seeker who shared her journey from significant barriers to meaningful employment. The honesty of lived experiences, shared from multiple perspectives, is what shifts thinking and drives real change.
Thanks to our amazing lead Ricky Kildea and our panel, Renee Owen, Marsha Uppill, Troy B. and Tammy.
This was an important reminder that these pathways donโt end with one opportunity, they continue to grow through understanding and strong partnerships.
