Bay 93.9 and K Rock 95.5: sharing our message across the community

Geelong Broadcasters, more commonly recognised by their radio stations KRock 95.5 and Bay 93.9, have been one of the Give Where You Live Foundation’s longstanding media partners.

They have helped to amplify the Foundation’s message across our local Geelong airwaves for over two decades.

As a gold partner, Geelong Broadcasters provide the Foundation with in-kind advertising, support a range of annual fundraising events and their staff also generously donate through to our workplace giving program.

“We’ve had a long partnership with the Geelong Broadcasters that has continued to evolve in new and exciting ways. The significant coverage they provide to the Give Where You Live Foundation across both of their local KRock 95.5 and Bay 93.9 stations, plays an important role in helping us connect with our community,” said CEO of the Give Where You Live Foundation, Bill Mithen.

“We’d like to thank the entire team at Geelong Broadcasters for their continued support of the Foundation and their dedication to helping us make a fairer, more equitable community,” Mr. Mithen added.

Most recently, Geelong Broadcasters were involved with the Foundation’s Give Geelong Appeal donating the efforts of their creative team, ad slots, and time on-air to help the Foundation raise vital funds for our community.

General Manager of Geelong Broadcasters, Andy Mathers, said they are proud to support the local community through their partnership with the Foundation.

“Geelong Broadcasters are committed to building partnerships that bring out the best in both our local communities and our radio stations.”

“Sharing the important work the Give Where You Live Foundation is doing in our community, is also helping us to create great local content for our listeners,” Mr Mathers said.

It’s partnerships like this that are helping us to build a fairer community across the G21 region. The generous support of Geelong Broadcasters allows us to further our message and connect with our community on another level.
