The Give Where You Live Foundation, stalwart of support of the Geelong community has been recognised as a community business leader with the announcement as a Victorian finalist in the 2016 Telstra Business Awards ‘Charity Award’.
Give Where You Live has fought off other worthy community organisations to join five other inspiring Melbourne based charity as Victorian finalists. Give Where You Live Foundation CEO, Bill Mithen reflected “Our team is proud of this nomination, its fantastic to be recognised for our community work alongside our business acumen and the best practice organisation we operate that enables us to successfully fulfill our mission in the community. At the core of the organisation is the mission to create long-term sustainable change for the most vulnerable community members.”
Winners of the 2016 Telstra Victorian Business Awards will be announced on Tuesday 19 July, at the National Gallery Victoria, culminating in national judging in Sydney on Thursday 25 August.
