Bill was nominated for his inspirational and adaptive leadership, driving an organisational change to enable a 60 year old organization to reinvent itself and provide the greatest measurable impact on disadvantage with its limited resources.
Bill implemented the organisation’s first ever Strategic Plan with remarkable skill and vision, juggling roles and resource priorities whilst driving and achieving the strategic challenge of balancing both corpus growth and impactful grant making to address disadvantage. He has combined exemplary personal and leadership capability whilst re-focusing the organization’s historical values and culture with innovative future-oriented strategy, business model choices and regional partnerships.
